Club History

The Inaugural meeting to found the Korean Jindo Club of Great Britain was held at Bath Championship Show in May 2017.

Due to the very small numbers in the breed, and we were happy to work together to promote the breed, we didn’t really feel the need to progress the club forward.

As our numbers increase, we decided in early 2021 that we now needed to move forward with the club, to be able to protect the breed, and progress from the Import Register, to a fully recognized breed.

The application for The Registration of Title was made to the Kennel Club in the summer of 2021.
